Hello! I’m a third-year student doing a dual bachelor’s degree between the University of British Columbia and Sciences Po Paris. These past two years at Sciences Po Paris, a world-renowned social sciences university, have not only taught me how to balance out my social, academic and work-life but also the importance of rigorous, sometimes detailed-oriented work.

Moreover, my job experiences, internships and positions in associations have allowed me to develop more hands-down skills. Thanks to my involvement in The Feminist Society, I developed my event planning and logistic skills. As head of the events pole, I was charged with the execution of our numerous events. This included communicating with other associations on campus, the university’s
administration alongside bars, and cafés. I honed my teamwork and managerial skills at the head of a team of five people. As treasurer, I not only managed the accounts but also initiated different ways to raise money, such as holding a keychain and bracelet-making stand. Part of the money collected from the products sold was given to a local charity and the rest was used to finance an art workshop, in collaboration with Rotaract, around sexual violence.

My time as a receptionist taught me how to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, and to think clearly and quickly in a fast-paced environment. This position taught me how important it is to take initiatives, especially when faced with various problems. The problems that I had to deal with ranged from the miscommunication surrounding visiting hours due to a new outbreak of covid cases in the senior home to discontent families and residents. I believe that the aforementioned skills would
greatly help me as your virtual assistant.

All in all, I believe that my motivation coupled with my past experiences, and my desire to keep learning would make me an ideal virtual assistant.
