I am skilled at all areas of office administration and customer service, and I specialize in documentation and business writing.
I have developed my skills providing effective administrative and operational support to organizations of all sizes, from founding a startup to supporting a government Commissioner. Along the way I took every opportunity to learn new skills, take on new challenges, and ensure a primary focus on customer needs.
I am comfortable with most aspects of office management such as managing inboxes, scheduling, organizing events, processing orders and providing help desk support. I work effectively with cross-functional team members and multiple platforms and tools, and I can quickly pick up new processes and methods.
I specialize in developing and producing documentation (including drafting, writing, editing, formatting, and online publishing) for operational and public facing purposes (such as FAQs, online content, procedural manuals, onboarding materials, tutorials etc).
I am particularly proud of my ability to build scalable systems based on best practises and continuous improvement. For example, I led the development of a new set of constitutional documents to set the fledgling Green Party of Ontario on its path to electing its first MPP ten years later. In a different role, I set up the office’s first multi media communications program – and then I seamlessly tripled it when the government tripled our mandate.
Recently I have been out of the workforce because of pandemic and family reasons, but I am ready to join a team to support remotely on a part-time basis. I look forward to discussing how I can help your business.
