- Answered incoming calls and turned those into sales.

- Met with various advertising companies and arranged advertising At the time Yellow Pages was the way to go, and then google SE became the way to advertise. We talked budget, keywords, timeline, and tracking.
- Guided the crew with maintenance of truck safety, inspections, long books, to ensure our CVOR was in good standing.
- Ran basic errands for the business. Office Supply purchases, truck parts pickups, packing inventory ordering, banking.
- Interviewed and Hired employees especially drivers and handed them a basic drive written test to ensure we were hiring the right people.
- Trained movers, telemarketers, packers and other sales personnel.
- Scheduled crews for jobs booked for the week ahead
- Set up payroll using QuickBooks, and other accounting tasks.
- Tracked working hours and sales from the rest of the sales field.
- Processed credit card payments via the IVR moneris system we had in place at the time. We moved to a more secure for a payment using a wireless machine. Crew would call me anytime of the day or night to process payment
- Worked with staffing agencies in time of need.
- I had achieved the ability to direct, supervise and earn the manager respect of the employees who were working under me.
I was a self storage site manger for Canadian Storage Centers Inc.
- Answered incoming calls, and translated those calls into sales. Those calls were monitored calls.
- Processed monthly payments thru MSE, updated accounts, called delinquent accounts, performed regular site inspections, sent out daily mail with invoices or delinquent letters.
- Educated customers on the how too’s of storage and what not to store like food or Jewelry.
- Oversaw daily maintenance guy and ensure his task were completed.
- Property was with over 500 storage units, plus tenants on the other part of the building.
- Did daily banking, record keeping, bill payments, and filing.
- Ordered Sell Thru Inventory like locks, boxes, tape and paper.
- Daily office cleaning and dusting, garbage removal and washroom replenishing.
